Erected to commemorate the landing of King-Emperor George V and Queen-Empress Mary in India in 1911, this stunning arch monument overlooks the Arabian Sea.

5. Hawa Mahal (Jaipur)

Known as the 'Palace of Winds', this five-story palace is made of red and pink sandstone. It has 953 small windows (jharokhas) designed so royal ladies could observe everyday life in the street without being seen.
