भारत ने 1 दिसंबर 2022 से 30 नवंबर 2023 तक G20 की अध्यक्षता (Presidency) की। यह भारत के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक अवसर था।

भारत की थीम थी: 'वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम' (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) — 'One Earth, One Family, One Future'
शिखर सम्मेलन (Summit) 9-10 सितंबर 2023 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित हुआ।
इस शिखर सम्मेलन में अफ्रीकी संघ (African Union) को G20 का स्थायी सदस्य बनाया गया।
