What is the Full Form of ASI in Police?

In the hierarchy of the state police forces and Central Armed Police Forces (like CRPF or BSF), the Assistant Sub-Inspector is a non-gazetted police officer rank.

• An ASI ranks exactly above a Police Head Constable.
• An ASI ranks exactly below a Sub-Inspector (SI).
