Format of a Notice

A well-written notice must include these elements:

NOTICE

[Body — brief, clear information]
[Signature — Name and Designation]

The entire notice is typically written inside a box.

Important Rules

  1. Always write NOTICE as a heading in capital letters.
  2. Include the date of issuing the notice.
  3. Keep the language brief, clear, and formal.
  4. Write who the notice is for (e.g., All Students, Members of the Club).
  5. Include details: What, When, Where, Who, Why.
  6. End with the name and designation of the person issuing it.
