A bibliography is a list of all the sources (books, websites, magazines, or videos) you used to gather information for your project or assignment. It is usually the very last page of your project file. Writing a proper bibliography proves that you did real research and gives credit to the original authors.
The list of sources should always be arranged in alphabetical order (A to Z) based on the author's last name or the title of the website.
You should not list Google.com as a source. Google is a search engine, not an author. List the actual website you clicked on.
It is sometimes also called 'References' or 'Works Cited'.
While colleges use strict formats like APA or MLA, school projects usually require a simpler format.
A. Citing a Book: Author's Last Name, First Name. Title of the Book. Publisher, Year of Publication. (Example: Sharma, R.D. Mathematics for Class 10. Dhanpat Rai Publications, 2021.)
B. Citing a Website (Internet Source): Title of the Article/Webpage. Name of the Website, URL link. (Example: History of the Taj Mahal. Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taj_Mahal.)
Below is an example of what your final page should look like:
