What is a Turnkey Project?

A Turnkey Project is a contract where a single contractor takes complete responsibility for designing, building, equipping, and delivering a fully finished project to the client.

• The client only has to 'turn the key' to open the door and start using it immediately — hence the name 'Turnkey'.
• The client does not need to manage any day-to-day construction decisions; everything from start to finish is handled by the contractor.

1. Construction: A builder agrees to construct a complete, furnished apartment building. The client pays and receives the keys to a 100% ready building.
2. Factory: An engineering firm builds an entire automobile factory, installs all machines, trains workers, and hands it over 'ready to run'.
3. Software: A software company designs, builds, tests, and deploys an entire software application for a client with no involvement required.

• Regular Contract: The client manages multiple separate contractors (architects, electricians, plumbers) separately.
• Turnkey Contract: One single contractor manages everything and delivers a complete, operational project.
