The CBSE Notice Writing Format

A notice must ALWAYS be enclosed within a Box.

  1. Name of the Institution: Written at the very top, in the center.

  3. Date: Written on the left side (e.g., 15 May 2024).
  4. Heading/Title: A short, catchy heading indicating the subject (Center aligned).
  5. Body of the Notice: The main content. It must answer the 5 Ws: What is the event? When is it? Where is it? Who can participate? Whom to contact? (Limit: 50 words).
  6. Signature, Name, and Designation: Written on the left side at the bottom.
